i put a little embroidery kit together for the sweetest girls i know; they've been sick, one with a chronic condition that's really kept her down for a while, & her sis with strep throat. i wanted to give them something they could enjoy doing while they're homebound & i know they like knitting. so i drew out some simple little patterns to get them started, made a little needle book out of paper & felt & threw in some hoops & floss. hope it keeps them occupied for a while...
Very thoughtful gift. I know they will love it!
ReplyDeleteI want to learn from you to be more thoughtful. I wouldn't mind re-learning emboidery either. It was fun when I did it 35 years ago. So sweet of you.
ReplyDeleteaww thanku both...i'm just working on actually doing some of the little things for others that i think of (but usually don't get around to doing) ...& i'm really getting into embroidery right now too~so easy you can teach yourself & so many great ideas out there for a little inspiration :)
